Laboratory of Laser Applications - Main

Laboratory of Laser Applications

The main directions of research of the Laboratory are the development, studies and applications of excimer lasers and nonlinear optical converters. Work is under way on the following topics:

• startup and studies of electron-beam excimer lasers of the visible, UV and VUV ranges; studies of the radiation strength and beam strength of their optics

• studies of the impact of radiation by excimer lasers on various materials

• development of methods of efficient generation of multifrequency radiation based on forced Raman scattering with the view of developing high-power lasers with pulse duration of several femtoseconds
